The Board for Barbers and Cosmetology licenses individuals and businesses that perform barbering, cosmetology, nail care, waxing, tattooing, body piercing, and esthetics. The Board also sets entry requirements and standards of practice for regulated professions. In 2013, her fellow Board members elected Daniella to Chair the Board. As Chair, she has worked in collaboration with the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry to establish an esthetics apprenticeship, allowing for an alternative avenue for individuals seeking to obtain licensure.
Daniella founded Spa310 in 2006 with a desire to bridge therapeutic and medical aesthetics. Spa310 has become one of Richmond’s premier spas owned and operated by a local woman with a passion to provide excellent skincare uniquely catered to each client’s individual needs.
Daniella has organized fundraisers for the Richmond Food Bank and Safe Harbor. She is an active member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, and the Richmond Philoptochos Society. She also enjoys yoga, gardening, and growing her own herbs, vegetables, flowers and fruit. Most importantly, she values spending time with family and friends, but always finds herself reflecting upon improving her business and the well being of her clients.
